WELCOME TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!

The Board of Directors of the Strawberry Hill Recreation Association is pleased to welcome you and your family to your community. There are several things you may want to know about SHRA Membership. First, the SHRA was formed in 1978 and is a not-for-profit Ohio Corporation. The owners of the SHRA are in fact the 171 individual homeowner members, each household of which having an equal share of its assets and liabilities. SHRA is governed by its Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and what is known as Covenants, Conditions, and Reservation of Rights (CCR's) recorded on each member's lot. You may receive a copy of these Articles of Incorporation, and Covenants, Conditions, and Reservation of Rights by requesting them through the SHRA Business Manager (who can be contacted through this website), or view and print them from this website.

Your assets include two swimming pools, two lighted tennis courts, pump/bath/change building, clubhouse, approximately 5.3 acres of land on which the SHRA facilities are located, and numerous miscellaneous items such as fencing, volleyball court, tot play set, etc. In addition, these facilities were upgraded and remodeled in 2002 which included a new pool deck, inner pool plaster, new pool covers, and new roofs for both the pool house and clubhouse. The maintenance of these facilities is imperative, first and foremost for our members enjoyment. However, these facilities also add to the value of all our homes, both while living here and for future resale value.

 

As with any great organization, we need active volunteers to keep our Association at its peak and to assist with all of the social events that are sponsored. As you will see on this website, we have a multitude of events for all members of your family. You will have many opportunities to meet your neighbors and have a fun, relaxing time. We encourage you to get involved and participate!! Feel free to contact any of your neighbors or a Board Member and find out how you can get involved.
